Been there twice. Food is always good, taste originally Greek, service is great , and they use gloves which is awesome.
Man when I tell you I’ve been searching for this type of food since I moved to Indiana, that’s an understatement lol. The food here is soo good. I got the steak Greek quesadilla and my wife got the chicken version. Super flavorful and well portioned. It’s huge haha like the size of a small pizza . It comes with a side of Greek fries which are also just as delicious. Of course I had to get a yeero and trust me it did not disappoint. This place will be our go to spot without a shadow of a doubt. Do yourself a favor and check them out if you haven’t been yet you won’t regret it !!!!
This place is number 1 they gyro plate is colorful tasty n looks pretty Columbia gyros they lemon rice soup always cold on there gyro plate n they're pita bread is kinda ruff nicks gyro horrible gyro sauce taste like mayonnaise munster gyro there onions is to buttery n taste like grill onions taztiki gyro plate they put alot of sauce on your gyros babas gyros sauce is also horrible n pita bread taste like shrimp
Food was very good. I got a gyro plate and my wife got a chicken gyro. Both full of meat and topping with plenty of sauce.
Omg thos place was so amazing from the customer service to the delicious food. I drove all the way from east chicago to try this food that i was told would be delicious and i was not disappointed. It is so refreshing to be greeted with a smile and so much friendly energy. I decided to try a little of everything and it was amazing. I will definitely be back.
I had a taste for a gyro & have passed this place numerous times. So I decided to give them a try. I went in about 40mins before closing. There was a gentleman in the dining room sweeping the floor & as soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. He immediately stopped what he was doing, went behind the counter & proceeded to take my order. I got the gyro combo with Greek fries & a can of soda for 13. The place was very clean & the man who took my order was cool. We chatted for a minute or two, while I waited for my food. I did not feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience since I came in so close to closing time. The food I received was fresh & big enough to share! I also really enjoyed the green onions on top of the Greek fries! It gave it a nice pop of color & a unique twist to the popular side. I will definitely be back!!
OH YEAH...... THATS IT RIGHT THERE!!!! ATHENS PITA IS THE REAL DEAL HOLYFIELD!!!! I consider myself a Gyro connoisseur and let me tell you, this spot is the TRUTH!!!! Best Greek fries I’ve had in all of NWI without a doubt. The gyro meat is the fresh and has all three characteristics of a triple threat.... TENDER, JUICY & FLAVOR-FULL!!!!! The pita is soft and warm and almost melts in your mouth. I ordered the gyro platter which came with 2 pitas, more than enough gyro meat to fill both, fresh cut onions & tomatoes, feta cheese and 2 sides of tzatziki sauce. Josh was extremely helpful as well st the register. 5 stars you ask? YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOAARRRRRRRRRD..... YES!!!!!
As a Munster resident, I have always been disappointed by the gyro options here in town. Munster Gyros and Arney's are so disappointing. Then Athens Pita came to town and they BLOW everyone else away. Their gyros is LEGIT and the meat is delicious and fresh. And the portion is massive. I get the gyros platter and it is glorious. They also have a diverse menu with all the classic Chicago staples. But the gyros is by far the best. I really really don't like Munster Gyros and was so happy when these guys opened up. BEST GYROS IN TOWN...PERIODT!
